1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the KarvenPay website, counter services, and any related payment facilitation services (together, the "Services"), operated by KarvenPay ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website, visiting our shop, or using any of our recharge or bill payment services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Services offered
KarvenPay facilitates the following payment and recharge services on your behalf, acting as an intermediary between you and the respective billers, operators, or authorities:
- Mobile recharges (prepaid top-ups across telecom operators)
- DTH recharges
- FASTAG recharges
- Credit card bill payments
- Education fee payments
- Electricity bill payments
- Water bill payments
- GST payments
We rely on data provided by you and on third-party biller systems (operators, banks, utility boards, and government portals) to process these payments. We are not the biller, operator, bank, or authority itself, and our role is limited to facilitating the transaction you request.
3. Eligibility & account use
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use our Services. You are responsible for providing accurate account numbers, mobile numbers, biller IDs, consumer numbers, and other details required to complete a transaction. KarvenPay is not responsible for payments made to an incorrect recipient or biller as a result of information you supplied.
4. Payments & transaction accuracy
Before confirming any transaction, we will display the payable amount, biller details, and applicable charges. It is your responsibility to review these details carefully before making payment. Once a transaction is confirmed and processed by the biller's system, it generally cannot be reversed or cancelled.
Transaction confirmations, receipts, or SMS/email acknowledgements issued by KarvenPay are proof of a payment request being submitted; final confirmation of service activation (for example, recharge credit or bill clearance) rests with the respective operator, bank, or biller.
5. Failed & delayed transactions
Occasionally, a transaction may fail, get delayed, or be processed but not reflected immediately due to reasons outside our control, including network issues, biller system downtime, incorrect details, or bank processing delays. In such cases:
- If an amount is debited but the service is not delivered, we will attempt to resolve this with the concerned biller or initiate a refund in line with our Refund Policy.
- You must report any failed or disputed transaction to us within 7 days of the transaction date, with the transaction reference or receipt.
6. Fees & convenience charges
Certain transactions may carry a convenience fee or service charge, which will be clearly displayed before you confirm payment. Fees, once paid as part of a completed transaction, are non-refundable except where required by our Refund Policy or applicable law.
7. User responsibilities
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or payment of dues on behalf of a third party without authorisation. You agree not to attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to our website, systems, or data.
8. Limitation of liability
KarvenPay acts as a facilitator between you and third-party billers, banks, and authorities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays, losses, or failures caused by third-party systems, network outages, incorrect information supplied by you, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to a transaction shall not exceed the transaction amount in question.
9. Intellectual property
The KarvenPay name, logo, website design, and content are the property of KarvenPay and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.
10. Suspension & termination
We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service to any user we reasonably suspect of fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity, or of violating these Terms.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
